This national partnership brings United Way and Labor Union associations together to improve the quality of life for all residents. Liaisons coordinate volunteer projects, provide strike and lockout support, help the unemployed and more. AFL-CIO stands for the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations.
