United Way emergency assistance fund — We partner with Porter County Aging & Community Services to provide a small emergency assistance program open to Northwest Indiana residents in Jasper, Lake, Newton, Porter and Starke counties. They can be reached at 219.464.9736 to inquiry about assistance available and the application process. Note, these financial resources may be depleted at any point in time due to demand.
You may qualify for our Level Up program – It is a 12- to 24-month program for working residents that can help guide you to financial independence.
